Life in Its Own Syntax

Verse 1

There once was a line, finely spun,
Where life and its grammar were one.
With pauses that teach,
And commas that reach—
We learn as the sentences run.

Verse 2

For breath is the space where we see,
The meaning of what’s meant to be.
In each subtle shift,
Life’s lessons uplift—
And depth finds its way naturally.

By Paul Baldry (LongJohn)

A reflective two‑verse limerick comparing life to a sentence — shaped by pauses, commas, and breaths that reveal meaning, rhythm, and quiet understanding.

Self‑Discovery and Identity — “What Was and What Will Be

Forged by Choice

Life is not forged by chance alone,
But by the seeds that we have sown. Each crossroads asks what we believe,
And what we’re willing to achieve. Through every choice our paths rejoice,
For destiny is forged by choice.
