This world—
no longer untouchable,
no longer pretending to be immortal.

It bleeds.
It breaks.
It shows its cracks in daylight.

And we call it progress.

We are temporary here.
Tenants, not owners.
Passing through
with heavy hands.

Look at the scars we’ve carved—
into soil,
into oceans,
into each other.

A confused world,
yes.

But not empty.

Because even now
there are rivers of love
running quietly
from pole to pole.

Strangers helping strangers.
Hands reaching across divides.
Light refusing to go out.

We are temporary—
that much is true.

So maybe the question is not
how broken the world is.

Maybe it’s this—

While we are here,
what will we heal?

By Paul Baldry

A Confused World in Pain looks at the world we have inherited, the damage we have caused, and the hope that still survives between the cracks.

We are only temporary visitors here, yet our footprints can scar the land, the oceans, and each other. But even in a divided world, kindness still crosses borders, strangers still reach out, and light continues to shine.

Perhaps the real question is not how broken the world has become, but what we are prepared to heal while we are here.

Self‑Discovery and Identity — “What Was and What Will Be

The Future You Create

The future waits in quiet clay,
Shaped by the hands that work today.

No distant star can chart your way,
Like choices made along the day.

Each step becomes tomorrow’s view,
The future lives in what you do.
