The morning sun spills gold on dew,
As blackbirds greet the day anew.
A butterfly drifts light and free,
Above the blooms beside the tree.
The world awakens, bright and fair,
With summer’s promise in the air.
I wrote Dawn’s Golden Welcome to capture one of those perfect summer mornings, when sunlight touches the dew, birds greet the new day and butterflies drift among the flowers. A simple moment when the whole world seems fresh, peaceful and full of promise.
