Like a storm‑tossed ship, you sail,
Through winds that roar and waves that rail.
Yet steadfast heart and steady hand,
Will guide you safe to gentler land.
The night may rage, the skies may weep,
But courage anchors strong and deep.
Though tempests howl and shadows rise,
Your spirit holds, unbreaking, wise.
And when the dawn breaks, soft and clear,
The storms dissolve, the shore draws near.
Resilience shines, the journey frees,
You find your peace in calmer seas.
I wrote this poem as a reflection on resilience and the storms we all face in life. Like a ship battling rough seas, we may be tossed and tested, but courage keeps us moving. However fierce the storm, there is always the hope of calmer waters and a peaceful shore ahead.
