In the hush of night,
Where shadows dance and play,
Time stands still, so bright,
From the heart of twisted roots,
She weaves her dreams away.

With a crown of green,
Nestled in an ancient tree,
She tells of things unseen.
As the midnight bell chimes sweet,
Her spirit floats so free.

Whispers take to flight,
Dancing in the moon’s soft glow,
Casting spells so light.
In her leafy hideaway,
She lets her imag’nings flow.

Glimmers softly shine,
Peeking through the emerald leaves,
Secrets found in line.
In nature’s warm embrace,
Her heart forever believes.

Paul Baldry

In this poem, I celebrate the quiet magic of imagination and the deep connection between nature and the human spirit. The dreamer among the roots reminds us that wonder still lives within us, waiting to bloom in moonlit moments of reflection, hope, and belief.

Self‑Discovery and Identity — “What Was and What Will Be

The Future Forged Within

Where challenges rise, dreams begin,
Awakening courage from within.
One life is yours to pursue,
Make it meaningful, strong, and true
Tomorrow bends to human will,
Forged by choice beyond the hill.
