Some hearts hide storms behind a smile,
quiet battles none can see.
Yet music has a healing way
of setting heavy spirits free.

A song can lift the weary mind,
a laugh can calm the darkest day,
and hands held close through troubled times
can help the fear just drift away.

For friendship is a steady bridge
across the water’s life may send,
and every voice that joins in song
reminds us we are not alone again.

Check on those who stand beside you,
share your kindness, laughter too.
Because the strongest choirs in this world
are built from hearts that carry through.

The Boy Writes from Within…

I wrote this poem after reading GraceNotes Acapella’s beautiful Mental Health Awareness Week message. It reminded me how powerful music, friendship, laughter, and simple kindness can be during difficult times. Sometimes a song, a smile, or just knowing someone cares can help carry a person through their darkest days. This poem is my tribute to those voices and friendships that quietly lift others up.

Reflections on Teenage Growth, Courage, and Life’s Journey

“Every wrong turn still teaches the feet how to find the right road.”

“Teenage years are not about having all the answers, but learning which questions matter.”
