The Mystery We Live

Verse 1

There once was a tale, strange and wide,
Where riddles and wonders collide.
For life’s hidden themes
Stir the heart’s quiet dreams—
And truth walks in step by our side.

Verse 2

Within that great frame where we roam,
We search for a place to call home.
Through challenge and claim,
We learn life’s vast game—
And find who we are as we roam.

By Paul Baldry (LongJohn)

A two‑verse limerick exploring life as a mysterious tale — a boundless journey where questions shape us, and discovery becomes the game we learn to play.

Reflections on Life

Love and Pain

“Love is not without pain,
And will surely bring pain.
A broken heart may hurt,
But resilience and trust in each other
May cure both.”

Of course, it also allows for a choice—
The choice of freedom.

Lessons of Choice

“Choice is a lesson in itself—
A lesson of right and wrong.
No matter the choices we make in life,
They will shape and build
Our sagacity.”

By Paul Baldry (LongJohn)
