In a world of tasks,
a girl drifts through shifting sand,
seeking a lost name.
Her purpose flickers like flame,
fading in the restless wind.

Up the winding stairs
she climbs toward some hidden prize.
Hope lights every step—
yet no firm ground greets her feet,
only whispers of “not yet.”

By Paul Baldry (LongJohn)

Through shifting ground and uncertain paths, she searches for meaning. Each step is lit by hope, yet the journey remains unfinished—whispering that purpose is not lost, only waiting to be found. I feel we all are in search of something, often not knowing what it is, we just feel something is missing.

Self‑Discovery and Identity —

“What Was and What Will Be”

“My past doesn’t define me
Nor will my future shape me
I’m a realist in the present.”

“My past was a battle…
I’m at peace with my future.”
