I’ve walked a hard rocky road
I’ve been carrying a heavy load
I’ve walked many roads
My life been a stumbling climb
Many lonely days and nights
Moments of tears and pain

Empty dreams
Empty pockets
Empty belly
Nobody by my side
Nobody to hold my hand
Nobody to confide

I met a strange man today
I said hello
I asked are you going my way
Can I walk with you… he said
Can I share the load
Can we confide

I’ll walk by your side
I’ll walk through the night
I’ll be with you all the way
He held my hand
He warmed my heart
He took my pain

Who are you
Where do you live
Why do you help
I’m the teacher
I’m my father’s message
I’m here for you

We talked all day
We talked all night
We confided together
Today I feel new
Today I came to you
Today I know you

You taught me
You’ll always be in my heart
You’ll always be by my side
You’ll always be there to hold my hand
You’ll always be my friend
You will be there always

Reflections on Life

“Words become the wings of imagination, as the poet weaves tales that transport readers to faraway lands, igniting their spirits to embark on their own bold escapades.”

“Conquering treacherous terrains demands both physical and mental fortitude, as a true adventurer never backs down from a challenge.”

Paul Baldry
